Powder Brows
Powder brows, also known as ombre brows or shaded brows, are a semi-permanent cosmetic eyebrow technique that involves filling in the eyebrows to create a soft, powdered makeup look. Unlike microblading, which uses small strokes to mimic individual hairs, powder brows create a gradient effect that resembles the look of filled-in eyebrows with makeup.
During a powder brows procedure, a trained technician uses a handheld device equipped with a fine needle to deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin. The needle gently taps the pigment into the desired shape and density, gradually building up color and creating a soft, powdery effect. The technician carefully blends the pigment to match the client's desired eyebrow shape and color.
The main advantage of powder brows is their longevity compared to traditional makeup. While the results are not permanent, they can last anywhere from one to three years, depending on individual factors and aftercare. Over time, the pigment naturally fades, giving the client the option to refresh or change their brow shape as desired.
